3rd Nepal APM TT Championship begins

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - The third edition of the Nepal APM TT Championship began on Wednesday, featuring three events on the inaugural day. The opening day saw competitions in the Women's Veteran 40+, Men's Veteran 50+, and Men's Veteran 60+ categories. Indira Parajuli from Gyan Bhairab TT Club clinched the top spot in the Women's Veteran 40+, with Samjhana Pokhrel, also from the same club, securing the second position. Hira Nakarmi from Bhedasingh TT Club and Japan's Emi Yoshi shared the third position in the same category. In the Men's Veteran 50+ category, Rajendra Kapali of God Spin Academy emerged victorious. Nepal APM TT Championship’s 3rd Edition Set for October

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - The third edition of the Nepal APM TT Championship is scheduled to take place from October 4 to 7. The championship will be held at the Nepal APM Club premises in Bhaisipati, Lalitpur. The tournament receives a sponsorship from Xiom Nepal. An agreement between Nepal APM and Xiom Nepal was officially sealed on Tuesday, where Xiom will provide table tennis equipment worth NRs. 6,00,000/- for all the victorious players. APM Director Dan Bahadur Mahata and Xiom Nepal Director Jackie Maharjan inked the sponsorship deal during the ceremony on Tuesday. Sanyog Set to Train in India for 19th ASIAD

Sanyog, a recipient of the NOC Olympic Scholarship, will undergo intensive training at the Anshul Garg Academy Foundation in Noida, India. Binesh outplayed Indian player Santosh Kumar Ramesh in a set of 7-11, 11-5, 11-9, 10-12, and 11-3 to be named champion in the men's event. NOC bids farewell to Sanyog and Rubin

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) bade farewell to two table tennis players traveling to compete in Asian Table Tennis Championship (Final Stage). NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to Sanyog Kapali and Rubin Maharjan amidst a program at NOC premises in Satdobato. The championship will be held on January 7 to 13 in Qatar. South Asian Regional Table Tennis Qualification to be held in Kathmandu

Second International Veterans Tournament on November

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - Nepal APM Pvt Ltd is all set to organize the second Nepal APM International Veteran Table Tennis Championships from 17th to 19th of November in coordination with the All Nepal Table Tennis Association and Nepal Olympic Committee. The organizers during a press conference in the capital on Wednesday confirmed that the three-day tournament will be held at the Nepal APM Club in Bhaisepati Lalitpur. National Champion Santoo heading toward Australia to pursue his future

Nepal enters final in cadet table tennis

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - Nepal has entered the final of South Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship underway in the Maldives. Nepal’s cadet girls’ team defeated Sri Lanka 3-1 in the semifinal to reach the final, according to All Nepal Table Tennis Association’s Vice President Dharma Man Bajracharya. Nepal will next face India in the title clash. The Nepali players competing in the event include Sanyog Kapali, Rubina Maharjan, Sujan Gadal, Evana Thapa Magar, Bianca Rai, Subashree Shrestha, Prince Thapa and Ujjawal Manandhar. The Nepali team also includes match commissioner Tejendra Mahara and coach Mohan Das Basukala. The tournament that kicked off on May 9 will conclude this Wednesday.
