NOC bids farewell to Sanyog and Rubin

Kathmandu – The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) bade farewell to two table tennis players traveling to compete in Asian Table Tennis Championship (Final Stage).

NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha bade farewell to Sanyog Kapali and Rubin Maharjan amidst a program at NOC premises in Satdobato. The championship will be held on January 7 to 13 in Qatar.

Earlier, 6 Nepali players qualified for the final stage after finishing in the top 16 in the South Asian Regional Championship that took place in December at National Table Tennis Training Center in Lainchaur. Even though six players have been qualified, only two are traveling to vie in the final stage.

NOC Member Ramesh Shiwakoti, All Nepal Table Tennis Association President Chaturanand Rajbaidhya, Treasurer Tejendra Singh Mahara, and others were present at the program.
