Sanyog Set to Train in India for 19th ASIAD

Kathmandu – Paddler Sanyog Kapali is set to train in India, aimed at preparing for the upcoming 19th Asian Games scheduled later this year.

Sanyog, a recipient of the NOC Olympic Scholarship, will undergo intensive training at the Anshul Garg Academy Foundation in Noida, India.

The President of the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC), Jeevan Ram Shrestha, bid farewell to Sanyog presenting him with a training kit to aid his journey.

The program was attended by Chaturananda Raj Vaidya, the Vice President and Executive Director of the NOC, as well as Dr. Saroj Krishna Shrestha, the Chairman of the NOC Medical Commission.

The 19th Asian Games, one of the most prestigious multi-sport events in Asia, is scheduled to be held from September 23 to October 8, 2023, in Hangzhou, China.
