Madrid win the El Classico

La Liga got more interesting as Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 in the El Clasico. Karim Benzema put the champions ahead in just 13 minutes while Kroos’ freekick was the winner. Consolation goal for Barcelona was scored by Mingueza. Barca dominated possession in most part of the game but were unable to stop Real's counterattacks. They themselves couldn’t find the first goal of the match. Barcelona finally fell behind as Lucas Vazquez’s low cross was netted home by a backheel from Benzema. Lingard double helps West Ham climb fourth

West Ham moved back into fourth position in the Premier League with a crucial 3-2 win over Leicester City. Jesse Lingard scored twice; Bowen added the third while both goals were scored by Iheanacho for the foxes. Lingard scored one in the 29th minute and other in the 44th minute to give West Ham the lead. He has been in unreal form since he joined the Hammers from Manchester United. He now has 8 PL goals this season which is already the highest number of goals he had scored in a single PL season. Leeds secured a dramatic win against Manchester City as they were 10-men down in the first half. A Marcelo Bielsa classic match was won by 2 goals from Dallas on each half, winner being on the last minute. Thanks to a late equalizer from Tomas Holes, Prague are now on a pole position to make an upset in the second leg.
