Manchester City go down to 10 men Leeds

Leeds secured a dramatic win against Manchester City as they were 10-men down in the first half. A Marcelo Bielsa classic match was won by 2 goals from Dallas on each half, winner being on the last minute.

City had dominated the possession whole game and had 20+ shots but still couldn’t break Leeds. City tried their hearts out in the first half to take the lead but it was Dallas who broke the deadlock. Dallas’ shot ricocheted off the post and into the net to hand Leeds an unexpected advantage on 42 minutes.

VAR came into action as Cooper was sent off for a tackle on Gabriel Jesus. First Andre Marriner had given a yellow but after VAR intervened it was changed to a red.

City dominated more in the second half but still couldn’t find the leveler until the 76th minute. Torres equalized after being played in by Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva. But it was Leeds who had the last laugh as Dallas scored in the injury time to win it for Leeds. Dallas comfortably slotted the ball in-between Ederson’s legs to give the famous win.
