A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday has decided to organize the mega sporting event from June 5 to 11 in Pokhara, the capital of Gandaki Province. The cabinet endorsed the proposal submitted by Sports Minister Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj to hold the national games in the stipulated date. “The cabinet has approved the date. A meeting of the Council of Ministers on November 29, 2021 had appointed Ghising as the member secretary of the NSC. The then Member Secretary Ramesh Silwal had filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court against Ghising’s appointment arguing that government sacked him before completion of his full term.
