First Heritage Ring Wrestling National Championship on Saturday

Kathmandu – Nepal Ring Wrestling Association informed that it has completed all preparations for the First Heritage Ring Wrestling National Championship to be held at Basantapur Durbar Square on Saturday.

The association informed that the Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Tokha Municipality have been supporting the championship. The organisers estimate that cost of the tournament will likely be around Rs 1.5 million.

The championship will feature wrestlers like Nuwakote Tiger, Chattan, David, Shine, Tuppi Gang, Lady Angel, Tannu, CJ, SC, John, Baka, Aakriti, Young Shady, Spiderman among others.

The heavyweight champion will be awarded Rs 105,000 while the hardcore champion will receive a purse of Rs 85,000. Likewise, the middle weight champion will bag Rs 75,000, the tag team champions will receive Rs 95,000, and the light weight female champion will get Rs 65,000.
