Earlier, the tournament used to be held after the completion of Martyr's Memorial 'A' Divison League. By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Tuesday accepted the friendly match proposal made by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). The PFF, in mid-october, proposed ANFA to play two friendlies on 14 and 22 November. However, ANFA agreed to play only a single friendly match stating that playing two matches is impracticable due to the General Election of Nepal scheduled for November 20 which will elect 275 members of the House of Representatives. On Tuesday, ANFA confirmed that Nepal National Team will play a friendly match against Pakistan National Team on November 16 for which ANFA appointed Prabesh Katuwal as the interim head coach. Anjila and Gita become the third and fourth Nepali players to sign for Sethu FC. Hosts Bangladesh along with Nepal and Bhutan will vie for the title. Nepal will kick off its campaign facing Bangladesh on November 3. Nepal will then take on Bangladesh on November 5.
