By a Staff Reporter The 22nd edition of the renowned Gold Cup of Nepal, Aaha! Rara Gold Cup is set to take place from December 27, 2022, to January 7, 2023, at Pokhara Rangashala. The organizers of Aaha! Rara Gold Cup, Sahara Club Pokhara on Thursday issued a statement stating the date of the tournament. Earlier, the tournament used to be held after the completion of Martyr's Memorial 'A' Divison League. This year, the tournament is scheduled to be held prior to the regular time and will get completed before Nepal's top-tier league that begins on January 10, 2023. The spectator needs to pay NRs. 500 to watch the match from a normal parapet. The VIP ticket costs NRs. 1000 whereas the VVIP ticket is worth NRs. 5000. The friendly match will kick off at 5 PM NST in Dashrath Stadium. The PFF, in mid-october, proposed ANFA to play two friendlies on 14 and 22 November. However, ANFA agreed to play only a single friendly match stating that playing two matches is impracticable due to the General Election of Nepal scheduled for November 20 which will elect 275 members of the House of Representatives. In a final group stage match, TAC defeated Nepal Police Club (NPC) 2-0 to book its semifinal spot. TAFC will vie against Gandaki Province in the semifinals to find their way to the finals.
