Kathmandu – The Nepal U15 National Women’s team will depart towards Bangladesh on Saturday to compete in SAFF U15 Women’s Championship. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bade farewell to the traveling team at ANFA premises on Friday.

The SAFF U15 Championship will begin on November 1. Hosts Bangladesh along with Nepal and Bhutan will vie for the title. Nepal will kick off its campaign facing Bangladesh on November 3. Nepal will then take on Bangladesh on November 5.
The championship will be played on a double round-robin basis where the table toppers will be crowned champions. Nepal will play its second match against Bhutan on November 9 and face Bangladesh on November 11.
Forward Dipa Rokaya will lead the Nepalese youth team. AFC ‘B’ License coach duo Bhagwati Rana Magar and Mangal Maharjan have been appointed as Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the team. Chhunuram Chaudhary is the goalkeeper coach and Sarita Bajgain is the physiotherapist of the team. ANFA has given the responsibility of team manager to Purna Maya Limbu Subba.
National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising, ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, ExCo Member Sarila Shrestha, Former ANFA Women’s Association President Bindra Dewan, and others bade farewell to the traveling team.
