Barsha Oli strikes late as Nepal beat host Bangladesh in an ongoing SAFF U15 Women’s Championship to go top of the competition’s points table.

Barsha dodged Bangladeshi Goal Keeper Songgita Rani Das to place the ball into the net in the 87th minute following Simran Rai’s freekick from the center zone.

With a win, Nepal tops the points table of the double round-robin-based championship participated by 3 nations with 6 points. Bangladesh stands behind Nepal in the second position with 3 points. Bhutan is yet to earn any points.

Nepal defeated Bhutan in its first outing of the championship where Barsha netted 4, Sukriya Miya scored a brace and Senu Pariyar scored a piece.
