Dipak Raj strikes twice as Satdobato got off victorious start

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - Dipak Raj Singh Thakuri struck twice as Satdobato Youth Club got off to a victorious start in Martyr's Memorial 'A' Divison League. Satdobato beat New Road Team 2-1 at Chyasal Stadium. Dipak opened the scoring in the 45th minute, giving Satdobato the lead. However, NRT's Nicolas Serge Song canceled out Satdobato's lead scoring an equalizer in the fifth minute of injury time of the first half. Dipak once again found the back of the net in the 84th minute which secured Satdobato's first three points of the league. On the other hand, Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Sankata Club began their top-flight league campaign with a goalless draw. Neither of the team could score as they shared spoils at Dashrath Stadium.

After trailing by a goal from Rabi Shankar Paswan's 14th-minute strike, Church Boys rallied and scored twice to secure the win. Ashish Chaudhary scored in the third minute of injury time to level the match at the break.
