Dipak Raj Thakuri scored a brace for SYC, while NPC's Prabin Thapa scored a consolation. Dipak connected with Suraj Gurung's corner and headed the ball home just before going into the break. Prabin Thapa scored an equalizer four minutes after the interval. Bangladesh secured their victory with goals from Shaheda Akter Ripa, skipper Shamsunnahar, and Unnoti Khatun, earning them their third title in the championship. The club announced Shrestha's appointment on Wednesday through their social media handles.
