By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 17-membered squad for the upcoming Asia Cup which will jointly be hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka later this month. The Asia Cup will begin from August 30 to September 17 with Nepal taking on co-host Pakistan at Multan. Nepal finds itself in Group ‘A’ alongside cricketing giants India and Pakistan. In Group ‘B’, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka will compete against each other to secure a spot in the Super 4 stage. After facing Pakistan at Multan, Nepal will travel to Sri Lanka to take on India on September 4. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 4 stage.
