Nepal finished on 162-8 in the allotted 20 overs to set up a competitive target for the UAE. Losing the toss and being sent into bat, Nepali opener Kushal Bhurtel smashed a quick-fire half-century. Nepal defeated UAE by 19 runs according to the Duckworth/Lewis (D/L) method to clinch the title. Chasing a revised target of 198 runs in 27 overs, UAE were bundled over in 26.4 overs on 178 runs. The target was revised after rain affected the match when the UAE were 50-2 in 11 overs. Dhruv Parashar scored the most for the UAE with 59 runs in 49 deliveries with five fours and two sixes.
