Court orders to send Sandeep behind the bars

Kathmandu - The District Court of Kathmandu has ordered to send the suspended captain of the Nepal National Cricket Team Sandeep Lamichhane, who is accused of raping a minor, behind the bars until the final hearing of the case.
A bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Ghimire ordered to send Sandeep behind the bars on Friday after the completion of the debate from both sides. The debate ended after the government attorney Krishna Bhandari completed his counterargument today.
While 8 lawyers of Sandeep debated on Thursday, 7 lawyers argued on behalf of the minor victim on Wednesday. After the order came from the District Court of Kathmandu, Sandeep has been kept at the Central Jail in Sundhara.
