Pokhara – An athlete participating in the men’s cross country event of paragliding under the 9th National Games has passed away.

Tribhuvan Army Club’s (TAC) Nisim Thapa lost his life as he suddenly fell down from paragliding from a height of 100 meters while flying in the sky during the competition in Pokhara Metropolitan City 18 Sarangkot on Sunday.
According to District Police Office Kaski, 26-year-old army player Nisim had lost his life when he fell on the ground. He was playing for TAC under contract.
Kaski Police Spokesperson Sundar Tiwari informed that Nisim was sent to Metro City Hospital for treatment. Later, he was declared dead by the doctor.
