Pokhara – Khagita Sinjali Magar and Surya Bahadur Khatri of Tribhuvan Army Club have attained gold in the high jump in the 9th National Games at Pokhara Rangashala.
Khagita won the gold in the women’s high jump whereas Surya won the gold in the men’s category. Surya jumped 1.90 meters to win the gold while Nikesh Mahato of Bagmati won the silver by jumping 1.75 meters. Police’s Roshan Danuwar also managed to earn bronze by jumping 1.75 meters.
On the women’s side, Khagita Sinjali Magar brings off gold jumping 1.52 meters. Army’s Bindu Thanet achieved silver by jumping 1.50 meters. Seema Shrestha of Gandaki won bronze jumping 1.42 meters.
