Clubs announce National Team ahead of ANFA

Subas Humagain, Kathmandu The Nepali national men's football team is playing its first match against Laos in the Prime Minister's Three Nations Cup on Wednesday. Both Laos and Bhutan have arrived with their full teams for the tournament. But the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has not been able to announce the preliminary squad so far. Instead, the A Division clubs have announced the names of the players who have been called up to the national team. Dipa Shahi and Sara Bajracharya each scored a brace, while Saraswati Hamal and Jenifar Rana scored a goal apiece in Nepal's dominant victory. Dipa opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Dipa puts on an impressive display as Nepal overwhelms Palestine

By a Staff Reporter Nepal National U20 Football Team put on a dominating performance against Palestine, winning 6-0 in the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers at Faisal Al-Husseini Stadium on Wednesday. Dipa Shahi, a member of the senior national team, was the standout player of the match, scoring four of Nepal's six goals. Moreover, Garima Rai contributed two goals to Nepal's victory. Dipa began the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by Garima's goal in the 29th minute. Dipa then completed her hat-trick with goals in the 67th and 75th minutes, while Garima scored her second goal and Nepal's fifth in the 82nd minute.
