Leeds thrashed Tottenham 3-1 as Tottenham’s slim chances of qualifying for Champions League took a dip. Dallas, Bamford and Rodrigo scored for Leeds as Son scored a consolation goal for Spurs. Jack Harrison put the cross and Lloris saved it but Dallas scored from the rebound and put Leeds ahead in 13th minute. Valencia said in a statement that coach Javi Garcia has been fired. Valencia had fallen six points short of the La Liga's relegation zone after the lost to Barcelona. Garcia took over at the end of last season. He was fired after his team lost 3-2 at home to Barcelona, their sixth consecutive defeat in the league. He even said after the loss to Barcelona that he "could not be any more concerned" about the team's situation. Gracia is the 11th coach to leave the club in the last nine years. Manchester United vs Liverpool at Old Trafford has been postponed until further notice. It’s not because of Covid-19 situation but due to fans protest. Hundreds of fans entered the stadium about an hour prior to the match and made a statement against the owners. The fans were at the stadium for about 10 minutes, did their job and then left. No interference was seen in the dressing room due to the protests but the match was postponed due to security reasons. The demonstrations were so violent that police determined the game was no longer safe for the players or anybody else involved. There was also a risk of conflict, as clashes between supporters and police became more violent. United's timetable would have to take precedence here because they are the busier of the two squad...

Manchester City has completed the signing of Dario Sarmiento, an 18-year-old winger from Estudiantes. Dario will join the club this summer. Sarmiento has been a target for City for some time now and are now heavily investing in young players. Manchester City also spent £9 million on Fluminense winger Kayky earlier last month. Sarmiento had recently signed a professional contract with Estudiantes to commemorate his 18th birthday. He has also been compared to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi due to his playing style. It is reported that Sarmiento would cost City just over £5 million, with Estudiantes entitled to 20% on any potential selling plus a further £5 million if he does not resign under his existing deal.
