Barcelona beat Valencia to stay in title hunt

Barcelona came back from 1-0 to win the match 2-3 over Valencia is in la Liga. Thanks to brace from Messi, the win was possible.

Inside the first two minutes, Barça made a quick start and had a perfect chance, with Pedri only missing the mark after a great team pass. Valencia took the lead via Gabriel in the 50th minute from a header from a corner kick. But Barcelona came back few minutes later.

Toni Lato was called for a handball inside the box seven minutes later. Lionel Messi took the penalty, which Jasper Cillessen saved, but Sergio Busquets was first to the rebound, and Messi rescued himself by scoring the equalizer after a scramble in the box.

After a header from Antoine Griezmann and a superb free-kick from Messi, Barça went up 3-1. Valencia found a way to bring spice to the final ten minutes. Carlos Soler scored a sensational goal with a 30-yard screamer, prompting the home side to send everyone out in search of an equalizer.

Barcelona play Atletico Madrid in a crunch, and potentially title-deciding, fixture on May 8.
