By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) - Paras Khadka, widely regarded as Nepal National Cricket Team's most successful captain and one of its greatest players, has been elected in the position of Secretary within the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). Khadka, who had retired from active cricket two years ago with the intention of taking on an official role in Nepal's cricket administration, secured his role by defeating Prashant Bikram Malla with a vote tally of 48-37. Nepal Squad For SAFF U-19 Championship Finalized

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu - Nepal's 23-man final squad for the SAFF U-19 Championship has been finalized. ANFA announced the final squad for the tournament on Wednesday afternoon. Head coach Sunil Shrestha left out Nishant Tamang and Niraj Karki from the 25-man squad that was in the closed camp for the past week. These two players have been kept as standby players, according to ANFA. Goalkeeper Jiyarat Sheikh will captain the Nepali side. Nepal are Group ‘A’ alongside Maldives and Pakistan, while Group ‘B’ consists of India, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. The qualifiers will be held in Mongolia from October 7 to 11.
