By a Staff Reporter

Kathmandu – Nepal’s rising Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) star, Rabindra Dhant, is gearing up for a pivotal showdown in One Championship, Asia’s premier combat competition.

The 24-year-old fighter, Rabindra, is slated to go head-to-head with Russia’s Torepchi Dongak in the flyweight division at One Championship’s Friday Fights 33, scheduled for September 15th. With an impressive record of six professional fights to his name, Rabindra has remained unbeaten thus far.

His most recent triumph came in the main event of the Nepal Warriors Championship, where he defeated an Indian opponent last month, in an electrifying match held in Kathmandu.

Originally hailing from Bajhang, Rabindra went to India in pursuit of both MMA glory and a livelihood. It was a challenging journey, marked by rigorous MMA training alongside his work in a foreign land.

Over the past few years, Rabindra has dedicated himself entirely to MMA under the guidance and management of Divij Piya Lama at Nepal’s esteemed Lock and Roll MMA. Rabindra has been honing his skills through intensive training in Thailand to prepare for his upcoming One Championship bout.
