The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) last week penned down an agreement with Italian Annese as the head coach of the Nepal National Team. While Nepal APF Football Club's Sanish Shrestha and Mani Kumar Lama earned their maiden spot in the national team, Nabin Lama returned to the national team after eight years. The first match of the championship played at Bir Shrestha Shaheed Shipahi Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Bangladesh, saw Shilji Shahji of India score a hat-trick, with Pooja adding a goal for India, while Barsha Oli scored the sole consolation goal for Nepal.
