Kathmandu – Satdobato Youth Club has claimed the top position in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League after defeating FC Khumaltar 2-1 at Chyasal Stadium.
Sardorbek Matmuratov and Dipak Raj Singh Thakuri each scored a goal in Satdobato’s triumph, while Rajiv Lopchan pulled one back for Khumaltar.
Satdobato gained an early advantage with Sardorbek’s goal in the 13th minute. Dipak extended their lead in the 25th minute. Khumaltar managed to score a consolation goal in the 64th minute, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Satdobato from taking the top spot on the points table with 12 points from 5 games.
Meanwhile, in another match at ANFA Complex, Sankata Club and Himalayan Sherpa Club played to a draw, with both teams earning a point.
Sankata moved up to 7th in the points table with six points, while Himalayan Sherpa came to 10th with five points.
