Kathmandu – The Nepal Veterinary Association, on Thursday, announced that the association is set to organize the second edition of right to protein run in January.

The Association is set to organize half marathons and several other categories of races with an objective to increase awareness of the importance of protein in the daily diet and to advocate the concept of “Right to Protein”.
The event has been scheduled for 21st January 2023 and will begin at 7 AM from Dashrath Stadium, Tripureshwor. Half Marathon (male & female), 10 KM (male), 5 KM (female), 5 KM (male), and 3 KM (female) for school students, and wheelchair races are included in the event having a total cash prize worth NRs. 13.76 lakhs.
The half-marathon winners will purse NRs. 1 lakh each whereas the winner of 10 KM (male) will be rewarded with NRs. 50,000 and the champion of 5 KM winner will receive NRs. 30,000. Moreover, the top 5 winners will also be awarded cash prizes. Registration for the event can be done via e-Sewa by paying a nominal fee of NRs. 300.
