Chelsea ended Mancester City’s quadriple dream as they beat Man City 1-0. Chelsea are now in the final and will face wither Leicester City or Southampton who are yet to play the semi-final match.
Chelsea nearly went ahead a Ziyech scored but was ruled offside as Werner was offside in the buildup. Ben Chilwell tried his luck too but couldn’t give Chelsea the lead. First half was dominated by Chelsea but didn’t look convincing enough.
Manchester City suffered a major injury blow as Kevin De Bryune limped off injured. After few minutes. Chelsea scored which was the only score of the game. Werner set up ZIyech as he put the ball home in an empty net and won the game for the Blues. Ziyech nearly scored another but Steffan made a wonderful save to keep Man City in the game. Ruben Dias nearly brought Man City level but his header went over the bar.
This was second time Pep Guardiola’s team has been knocked out of the FA Cup semi-finals.
