Football documentaries have been increasingly popular on streaming platforms in recent years. It’s another documentary time as Paul Pogba has signed a deal with Amazon to produce his life in digital medium.
A video called “The Pogmentary” about his life will be released in 2022. The World Cup winner will collaborate with Black Dynamite on the documentary, which will provide an insight into the life of one of the world’s most famous footballers.
Georgia Brown, Amazon Studios’ head of European originals, announced that they’ll be given unparalleled insight into the life of the United star. This will also give the chance to share his story to the rest of the world. “We all know Paul for what he can do on a football pitch, but his influence reaches much further and he is without doubt an icon for an entire generation,” she said.
“Through the unprecedented access afforded to us, Prime Video will show the man behind the fame, delving into his life off the pitch and letting him tell his story in his own words.”
