Women’s National Cricket Team is set to make return in International Cricket

Kathmandu – The Nepal National Women’s Cricket Team is set to make a much-awaited return to international cricket, after a gap of 11 months.

The team will be playing a bilateral series against the Malaysian Women’s Cricket Team, comprising five T20i matches, which will be held at the YSD-UKM Oval Stadium in Malaysia. The series is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 4.

The Women’s National Team last played international cricket in the ACC Women’s T20 Championship semifinal in Malaysia in June 2022. Since then, the team has been eagerly waiting for an opportunity to take the field and showcase their skills. The upcoming series against Malaysia will provide them with just that.

Despite the announcement of the series, the Cricket Association of Nepal is yet to call the players for the camp. It is expected that the players will be informed about the same soon, and they will undergo a rigorous training regime to prepare themselves for the series.

The Nepal National Women’s Cricket Team is excited about their return to international cricket and is determined to make the most of the opportunity. The team is expected to put up a strong fight against their Malaysian counterparts and strive to emerge victorious.
