Kathmandu – Royal Blue Satdobato Youth Club emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over APF Football Club in an ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League 2023 at Dasarath Stadium, thanks to Dipak Raj Singh Thakuri’s exceptional performance.
The match started with both teams looking to gain an early advantage. In the 13th minute, William Opoku Asiedu opened the scoring for Satdobato after receiving a cross from Dipak. The first half saw Satdobato dominate the game, and in the 36th minute, Dipak scored the second goal for his team after receiving a pass from William.
Satdobato went into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead. APF tried to make a comeback in the second half, but Satdobato’s defense was solid. In the 77th minute, Sushil Lama came off the bench and provided a beautiful pass to Dipak within a minute, who calmly finished securing Satdobato’s victory.
The win was crucial for Satdobato, as it helped them move to the 4th position in the league table with 26 points from 17 matches. On the other hand, APF fell to 7th place with 22 points.
Dipak Raj Singh Thakuri was the star of the match with his two goals and one assist. His outstanding performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
