Newcastle United secure a last-minute draw against Liverpool in a thrilling match. Mohamed Salah scored for Liverpool whereas Joe Willock scored the leveler for Newcastle United in the last kick of the match.

Liverpool went ahead after just 3 minutes as Salah scored a brilliant goal in the top corner. For most part of the game, Liverpool dominated and could have easily won the game by a margin of 3 or more goals. But they couldn’t be clinical enough. Newcastle missed few opportunities as well but Liverpool looked more threatening.
As Mané picked out Diogo Jota unmarked inside the penalty box, he fired a tame shot at the Newcastle goalkeeper. After leaving a slow Newcastle defense trailing to hit a Salah through ball, the Senegalese international dragged a decent chance across target. Clark made a mess of a goal-kick and gifted Liverpool possession. Jota then missed a perfect sight of Dubravka’s net, until the goalkeeper blocked Salah when he was playing clean through by Roberto Firmino’s deft chip over the top.
The match went on 1-0 as Liverpool couldn’t capitalize their golden chances. Wilson thought he equalized for Newcastle but VAR ruled the goal out as the ball had deflected off Wilson’s hand. But still Newcastle had the last laugh as super sub Joe Willock scored the equalizer from a close range as the ball deflected into the net.
The result left Liverpool at 6th from 4th. Meanwhile, Newcastle stay 15th with 9 point off relegation zone.
