Kathmandu – Hongwanji New Diamond Youth Sports Academy topped the competition points table outplaying Nepal APF Club in the final round-robin match of the 6th KNP Nerolac National Women’s Volleyball Championship at NSC Covered Hall. Meanwhile, Nepal Police Club secured its first win in the championship by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club 3-1.

New Diamond won the first two sets 25-21 and 25-19 but lost the third 21-25 before securing the victory in the fourth set 25-21.
In the day’s second match, NPC, after losing the first set 24-26, came back to win the next two with identical scores of 26-24 before winning the fourth set 25-20.
The championship final between New Diamond and APF will take place on Wednesday, while NPC and TAC will compete for third place on the same day.
Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC), Nepal Armed Police Force Club (APF), Nepal Police Club (NPC), and Hongwanji New Diamond Youth Club are competing in the round-robin-styled championship organized by Sher Bahadur Khadka Memorial Foundation.
The winner of the championship will receive NRs. 3 Lakhs, runner-up NRs. 1.5 Lakhs, third place NRs. 75 thousand and the MVP will be awarded NRs. 50 thousand.
