Kathmandu – Nepal has entered the final of South Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championship underway in the Maldives.
Nepal’s cadet girls’ team defeated Sri Lanka 3-1 in the semifinal to reach the final, according to All Nepal Table Tennis Association’s Vice President Dharma Man Bajracharya. Nepal will next face India in the title clash.
The Nepali players competing in the event include Sanyog Kapali, Rubina Maharjan, Sujan Gadal, Evana Thapa Magar, Bianca Rai, Subashree Shrestha, Prince Thapa and Ujjawal Manandhar. The Nepali team also includes match commissioner Tejendra Mahara and coach Mohan Das Basukala.
The tournament that kicked off on May 9 will conclude this Wednesday.
