Nepal beat Maldives to register second consecutive win in women’s volleyball

Kathmandu - The women’s national volleyball team of Nepal registered its second consecutive victory in the AVC Asian Central Zone Women's and Men's Volleyball Championship underway in Bangladesh. Earlier, Nepal had defeated Sri Lanka in 3-2 sets in their opening match of the women’s category on Thursday.
On Friday, defending champions Nepal won their match against the Maldives in straight sets at Saheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium located in Mirpur, Dhaka. Nepal registered a comfortable straight set win of 25-11, 25-9 and 25-5 over Maldives in their second league round.
