Kathmandu – Spiker Man Bahadur Gurung and middle blocker Bhairav Bam are back in the national volleyball team of Nepal. The two players from Tribhuvan Army Club made it to the national team for their exemplary performance in domestic matches. They were included in the final list of 12 players of the national squad announced by Nepal Volleyball Association for the NVC Central Zone Volleyball Championship on Sunday.
Man Bahadur Gurung was not included in the national team during the NVC Central Zone Volleyball Championship held in Nepal in 2019 as he was included in the beach volleyball team of Nepal for the 13th South Asian Games. Likewise, Bhariab Bam, a second choice player of TAC, made it to the national squad for his good performance.
The NVC Central Zone Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Championship is scheduled to be held in Bangladesh from December 21 to 29. The women’s team of Nepal are the defending champions while the men’s team were knocked out from the league stage in the last edition of the championship.
