Speaking after the match, the assistant coach of the team Balgopal Sahukhala responded that the team's confidence has leveled up due to consecutive wins. Following a second win in a row, Bangladesh climbed to the top of the competition points table. Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka 1-0 in its first match.
