Agency – FC Barcelona beats its favourite rival Real Madrid in the pre-season friendly match by 1-0 in Las Vegas, USA.
In a very competitive game, Rafinha’s goal in the first half was enough for Barcelona to seal the victory. With a lovely goal by Rafinha scored from outside the penalty box after controlling the bad pass given by Real Madrid’s defense, Barcelona took the lead in the 26th minute.
Although it was a friendly match, Barcelona fielded their strong team while Real Madrid rested their main players like Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro. Barcelona started with their star forwards Robert Lewandowski and Rafinha who came to the club in this transfer window. This was also Lewandowski’s debut match for Barcelona.
While Barcelona played Marc-André ter Stegen as the goalkeeper, Ronald Araújo, Andreas Christensen, Jordi Alba and Eric Garcia handled the responsibility of the defense. Sergio Busquets, Pedri and Gavi played in the midfield and Ansu Fati supported two new players in the attack.
On the other hand, Real Madrid fielded both new signings Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchuameni while resting Benzema. Thibaut Courtois was Real’s man between the sticks and Rudiger, Eder Militao, David Alaba and Lucas Vazquez handled the defense line. Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Tchuameni in midfield and Vinicius Junior, Eden Hazard and Rodrygo in attack.
Barcelona substituted all its players in the second half. Real changed 10 other players except goalkeeper Courtois.
