Agency – English club Manchester United has said that they will permit Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to depart if he fulfills the condition set by the club.

United offered new terms to 37-years old Ronaldo in order to permit his departure from the club. As per the new terms, United will allow Ronaldo to leave only on loan if he renews his contract with the club. According to the Mirror, United wants Ronaldo to extend his contract until 2024.
Ronaldo wishes to play in the Champions League as he is aging and may retire from football anytime soon. He wants to leave United as the club will not be able to compete in the Champions League this season. However, United wants Ronaldo to play in the Champions League from the club next season by renewing the contract. Ronaldo’s current contract with United expires in June 2023.
If new manager Eric ten Haag can take the club to the top four of the Premier League, Ronaldo will surely get the opportunity to play in the Champions League next season. Ronaldo and his agent are surprised by this kind of offer proposed by the club. But Ronaldo has neither rejected the offer nor accepted.
While United is on the Thailand and Australia tour, Ronaldo has not joined the team due to family reasons. Ronaldo has recently been linked with the Spanish club Atlético Madrid.
