Nepal Squad Finalized For T20 World Cup Qualifiers

By a Staff Reporter Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) - Nepal have announced their final squad for the ICC T20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifiers. Nepal named their 15-man squad for the qualifiers kicking off on Monday. Spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has made his place in the squad after sitting out the recently concluded Tri-Series due to personal reasons. Nepal have not made any other additions but have cut down the 18-man squad in the Tri-Series. Nepal defeated UAE by 19 runs according to the Duckworth/Lewis (D/L) method to clinch the title. Chasing a revised target of 198 runs in 27 overs, UAE were bundled over in 26.4 overs on 178 runs.
