The player's registration for the eighth edition of the marathon has been open since Sunday. The player can register themselves through the website of Nepalgunj Marathon. 9th National Games – NSC to provide Rs. 2000 daily allowance for athletes

By a Staff Reporter Players and officials participating in the 9th National Games will receive a daily allowance of Rs 2,000 during the period of tournament. The 113th board meeting of National Sports Council (NSC) held under the chairmanship of Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Gahatraj took the decision on Sunday. The annual plan, program and budget of NSC for the fiscal year 2079/80 have also been approved by the meeting as informed by NSC. The meeting has decided to provide the necessary budget to provinces for the selection of players. Participating teams have to register the number of players by August 31st and their names by September 10. By a Staff Reporter South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) has announced the fixtures of the Women's SAFF Championship to be held in Nepal next month on Sunday. The sixth edition of SAFF Championship will begin from September 6 to 19, 2022 at Dashrath Stadium in Tripureshwor. Nepal, who were drawn in group A along with Bhutan and Sri Lanka will face Bhutan in the opening match of the championship on 6th September at 5:30 PM NST as per the fixture published by SAFF. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) office bearers have been rapidly discussing regarding the appointment of a new head coach but salary is becoming the barrier in its way. As Dassanayake resigned in between his agreement date,  the International Cricket Council (ICC) informed that the appointment of coach should not be done through open competition. On the occasion of the inauguration of its new stadium, Brunei planned to organize a three nation football series by inviting Nepal and Laos.
