Kathmandu – Arch rivals Three Star Club and Manang Marshyangdi ended their Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League match in a 1-1 draw at Dasarath Stadium on Monday.

The match saw both teams score one goal each, with Santosh Sahukhala scoring for Three Star and Koffi Timothée Koudo scoring for Manang Marshyangdi.
Santosh Sahukhala, who returned to Three Star after seven years, took his side into the lead in the 78th minute. Santosh scored with a half-volley after Laken Limbu won a header in a 50/50 effort with Randip Paudel outside the penalty area.
However, Manang Marshyangdi denied Three Star’s lead in the 84th minute when Koffi Timothée Koudo headed the ball home from Bhison Gurung’s long pass.
The draw was enough for Manang Marshyangdi to maintain their top spot in the points table with 15 points from 7 matches. Meanwhile, Three Star Club stands still in the 6th position with 11 points.
