Swostishree Gurukul IB World School football team will fly towards Holland on Monday to participate in the Special Football Training camp organized by Holland Football University. The school bade farewell to the traveling team amidst a program on Sunday.

Former Nepal National Football team skipper Anil Gurung, who is the football Ambassador of Swostishree Gurukul will lead the team to Holland. The camp is scheduled to be conducted for a time period of 6 days starting from 10th to 16th August.
The traveling students have covered the necessary expenses for the tour themselves. “Students covered the expenses by themselves. The main aim of this tour is to develop the grassroots. Keeping the factor about expenses aside, tours like this helps students to gain international exposure which will be valuable for them throughout their life,” Gurung clarified the aim of the tour. “We are working for the development of students and we are glad that the guardians are supporting us as well. More tours like this are scheduled to take place in coming days,” he added.
Along with the football camp, the school’s football coach Jwala Bista will also be enrolled in a special coaching course at the Holland Football University itself.
National Sports Council (NSC) Vice President Shiva Koirala, ANFA Vice President Dawa Lama, School’s Founder Chairman Ram Krishna Chitrakar, School’s Managing Director Mina Maharjan Chitrakar, and others bade farewell to the traveling team.
