Kathmandu – St. Xaviers College and Kantipur College of Management and IT (KCMIT) emerged victorious on the 5th day of the Apex ICC Cup 2023.
In the first match of the day St. Xaviers defeated Thames International College by 42 runs.
Invited to bat first, St. Xaviers posted a total of 150 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Later, Thames failed to chase the winning target of 151 runs. Thames collected a mere of 108 runs losing 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Likewise, in the second match of the dat KCMIT outplayed Islington College by 34 runs. Winning the toss, and opting to bat first, KCMIT posted 120 runs with a wicket in spare in the allotted 20 overs.
Later, KCMIT bowled out Islington for 86 runs in 15.5 overs, ultimately sealing the match.
