PSG have reached the semi-finals of the UCL Champions League 2020-2021 season even though they lost to Bayern Munich. PSG held Bayern 3-3 in aggregate over two legs and were through as they had 3 away goals to Bayern’s one.
PSG were in control of the first half and looked the more threatening team. Neymar hit the bar twice in the first 40 minutes but couldn’t break the deadlock. However, Bayern scored first via Chupo-Moting as he scored from a rebound from keeper Keylor Navas. Neymar again came close in 57th minute but he couldn’t tap in a delightful ball from Di Maria.
Mbappe thought he scored the leveler but he was flagged offside in the 79th minute. Bayern tried to snatch the tie with so many attempts but the home side held on. PSG will now play either Man City or Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals.
