Kathmandu – The Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) felicitated the National Women’s and Men’s Beach Volleyball teams, who secured the silver medal in the CAVA Beach Volleyball Tournament.
Nepal showcased remarkable performance, earning silver medals in both the men’s and women’s categories during the CAVA Beach Volleyball Tournament, which took place in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, from December 28th to 30th last year.
The women’s team consisted of Kopila Upreti and Kamala Pun, while the men’s team was represented by Maan Bahadur Shrestha and Dil Bahadur Sunar. Their exceptional skill and dedication led to this remarkable feat, bringing glory to the nation.
During the felicitation ceremony, each player was awarded NRs. 25,000 along with a certificate. The event also saw the felicitation of the Men’s Team Manager, Bharat Shah, and the Women’s Team Manager, Junu Pun.
The felicitation ceremony was graced by the presence of Nepal Sports Council (NSC) Vice President, Shiva Koirala, as well as the NVA President, Jitendra Bahadur Chand, General Secretary, Roshan Shrestha, and others.
