Nepali Youths Get Past Yushu Youth Team With Ease

Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepali Youth Team have registered a comfortable victory against China’s Yushu Youth Team, Qinghai Province. In a match held at the Dasharath Stadium on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, Nepal registered a 5-1 victory.

A Samir Tamang brace, along with goals from Sanjeeb Bista, Chhiring Lama and Nirajan Dhami secured the win for Nepal.

An Ayush Ghalan cross combined with a glancing header from Sanjeeb Bista at the near post handed Nepal the lead of the match in just the second minute. Nepal U-19 international Samir Tamang doubled the lead with a free header off a cross from Chhiring Lama in the 39th minute.

Samir added another goal in the 47th minute. Samir scored another header, this time off a cross from the first goalscorer Sanjeeb Bista.

Chhiring, who provided the second goal, turned goalscorer in the 63rd minute as he added Nepal’s fourth goal. He shot from the edge of the box after the keeper parried away a cross from Sumit Shrestha. Similarly, in the 74th minute, Nirajan Dhami scored from close range to take Nepal’s tally for the day to five goals.

Yushu pulled one goal back in the 78th minute but it was a little too late to spiral a comeback.
