Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – Nepal will face Sri Lanka in the opening match of the CAVA Women’s Nations League. The tournament, consisting of five nations including Iran, India, Sri Lanka and Maldives alongside Nepal will run from August 1 to 7.

The Nepal Volleyball Association, the organizers of the event, unveiled the Nations League trophy during a press conference on Friday. During the press conference, it was revealed that 21 sub-committees have been formed under the leadership of Jitendra Bahadur Chand, the NVA president.
Nepal’s matches will be against India on August 2, Maldives on August 4, and Iran on August 5. Following the round-robin srafe, the semi-finals will take place on August 6, with the first-place team playing the fourth-place team, and the second-place team playing the third-place team. The final and third-place match will be held on August 7.
