Nepal Police and Help Nepal Win 7th PM Cup

Kathmandu – Nepal Police Club and Help Nepal emerged victorious in the 7th PM Cup Women’s and Men’s National Volleyball Club League on Saturday.

In the women’s section, Nepal Police Club defeated their departmental rivals, Nepal APF Club, in a thrilling 3-1 set match. Despite winning the title undefeated, Nepal Police faced initial setbacks, losing their only set in the final.

Nepal Police Women started the game strongly and easily defeating APF with a score of 25-12 in the first set. However, APF fought back hard, winning the second set with a score of 21-25. Determined not to let APF gain further ground, Nepal Police silenced their opponents, defeating the third and fourth sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-19, respectively.

In the men’s section, Help Nepal dominated a Nepal Police Club, securing a 3-1 set victory. The Housefull NSC Covered Hall saw Help Nepal claiming the first set with a score of 25-19. Nepal Police Men made a strong comeback, winning the second set with a score of 11-25. However, they couldn’t maintain their momentum and ended up losing the following two sets with scores of 25-18 each.

With their triumph, Nepal Police Club Women and Help Nepal each pursed NRs. 6,00,000 cash prize. Meanwhile, the runners-up, Nepal Police Club Men and Nepal APF Club Women received NRs. 3,00,000 each.

Similarly, in the women’s section, New Diamond Youth Academy finished third, while Tribhuvan Army Club secured fourth position in the league. In the men’s section, Tribhuvan Army Club claimed the third position, while APF remained in fourth place.

The third-placed teams were rewarded with NRs. 1,50,000 each, while the fourth-placed teams received NRs. 75,000 each.
