Kathmandu (HamroKhelkud) – UAE have put up a target of 141 runs for Nepal in the opening match of the Triangular Series between Nepal, Hong Kong and the UAE.

UAE managed to score 140 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Batting at number six, Basil Hameed remained the topscorer for UAE with 51 runs in 38 deliveries with one four and four sixes.
Ali Naseer scored 32 off 30 deliveries with three fours and a six. Opener Khalid Shah was dismissed for a duck in the first over while the other opener and skipper Muhammed Waseem scored 17 runs in 18 deliveries with one four and a six.
Alishan Sharafu scored six runs, while Mohammaed Faraazuddin couldn’t add any runs to the total. Sanchit Sharma and Nilansh Keshwani remained unbeaten on two and four runs respectively.

Karan KC took three wickets for Nepal giving away 19 runs in his four-over spell. Gulshan Jha took three for 11 in his three overs. Abinash Bohora and Sompal Kami took one wicket apiece.
Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee and debutant Mausham Dhakal remained wicketless for Nepal.
