Kathmandu – Nigerian forward Ajayi Martins Kayode’s stellar performance led Three Star Club to their first victory in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League.
The Patan-based team triumphed over newcomers FC Khumaltar 2-0 at ANFA Complex, with both goals scored by Martins in the second half.
Martins netted the first goal in the 53rd minute, thanks to a brilliant assist by Laken Limbu. He then scored again in the 83rd minute, doubling Three Star’s lead.
After losing to APF and drawing with Friends Club, this victory gave Three Star a total of 4 points from three matches.
