Kathmandu – Lumbini All Stars chalked up a fourth win defeating Far West United in the super over.

Far West United’s Inning
Far West United, who lost the toss and batted first scored 137/6 in the scheduled 20 overs. Dev Khanal, who opened the innings for Far West missed his half-century by 2 runs. The 17-year-old batsman collected 42 runs off 42 balls with 5 fours.
Hasim Ansari, who joined Dev in opening the innings contributed 11 runs off 23 deliveries before facing LBW off Sagar Dhakal’s delivery in the 7.6 overs.
With Far West’s skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi scoring 32 runs, Bhim Sharki and Binod Bhandari contributed 15 and 11 runs. Moreover, Umar Ali got run out in 19.6 overs collecting 1 run. Karan KC remained unbeaten for 12 runs.
Lumbini’s pacer Shadley van Schalkwyk claimed 2 wickets giving away 39 runs in 4 overs. Harmeet Singh, Kishore Mahato and Sagar Dhakal took a wicket each.
Lumbini All Stars’ Inning
Lumbini had a substandard start to the inning. Even so, Gulsan Jha* (36) and Sagar Dhakal* (1) partnered in the final over to level the match and let super over to decide the winners.
Far West’s vice-captain Karan KC took the super over. Lahiru Milantha and Shadley van Schalkwyk partnered to score 19 runs (0-1-0-6-6-3) for Lumbini in the super-over.
However, Lumbini’s pacer Kishore Mahato stopped Far West to chase the target of 20 runs. Far West scored 6-0-1-1-1-1 as Lumbini All Stars won the one-over eliminator.
With Kushal Bhuretl leaving the crease following a golden and Opener Sunil Dhamala getting duck out, Lahiru Milantha scored 34 runs off 20 balls.
Dipendra Singh Airee (4), Anil Sah (9), Harmeet Singh (3), Bipul Sharma (31), Kishore Mahato (8), and Shadley contributed 7 runs to the tally.
While Far West’s Karan KC and Sher Malla picked up 2 wickets each, Rashid Khan, Umair Ali, Hashmatullah Shahidi, and Bhuvan Karki booked 1 each.
